These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BoxieAI, an AI-powered email triage and reply product (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
BoxieAI connects to Gmail accounts you authorize via Google OAuth, reads and classifies incoming email into Urgent, Opportunity, or Noise, generates AI-assisted summaries and reply suggestions, and lets you send replies or new messages through your connected account. Custom categorization rules and AI-drafted replies may be limited or unavailable depending on your plan.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use BoxieAI.
- You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- One BoxieAI account may connect one or more Gmail accounts you are authorized to access, subject to your plan's limits.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use BoxieAI to send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or messages that violate applicable law.
- Connect a Gmail account you are not authorized to access.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to violate Google's API Services User Data Policy or Gmail's own terms of use.
- Use AI-drafted replies to impersonate someone, mislead recipients, or send unlawful content — you remain fully responsible for every message you choose to send.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. AI-generated content
Summaries, categorizations, confidence scores, and suggested replies are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for the situation. No message is ever sent without your explicit action— BoxieAI drafts, you decide. You're responsible for reviewing any AI-drafted content before sending it.
5. Plans, billing, and payment
- BoxieAI offers a Free plan and paid Pro plans billed monthly, every 6 months, or yearly, as described on our pricing page.
- Paid subscriptions are processed by Paystack. By subscribing, you agree to Paystack's terms for the payment itself.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
- We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable notice; changes won't apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.

6. Your content and data
You retain all rights to your email content. By connecting a Gmail account, you grant BoxieAI a limited license to access, process, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service to you (including sending it to our AI processing provider — see our Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of your email content and do not use it to train AI models.
7. Intellectual property
BoxieAI, its logo, and the Service's underlying software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, with reasonable notice where practical.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED CLASSIFICATIONS OR REPLIES WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOXIEAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY EMAIL SENT USING AN AI-DRAFTED REPLY YOU CHOSE TO SEND. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your Gmail account(s) at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you first except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service or other users.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
